About Me

I grew up in Seattle Washington, playing Trumpet and Basketball at Garfield High School. I found my paassion for technology through founding a Girls Who Code chapter at my high school and teaching myself how to code. I now am a senior at UC Berkeley majoring in Cognitive Science with an emphasis on Computer Science. Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary study of the mind, combining AI, Neurobiology, Linguistics, and Psychology. I am passionate about Artificial Intelligence, specifically NLP and Computer Vision! I also think it's very important to emphasize ethical AI, especially as factors like race, gender, etc. can be unintentionally affected. I interned at Microsoft Artificial Intelligence + Research for the past two summers on Bing. I plan to work in tech full time as a Software Engineer after graduating in May 2021.
